Sara
We rescued Sara on a chilly fall evening after a concerned call from a neighbor. She had given birth to her second litter of kittens just a few weeks prior, and her feeder was worried about their fate in the upcoming New York winter. We were happy to discover that Sara and her beautiful brood of 6 gray kittens - affectionately dubbed “the graybies” - were healthy and thriving. Much to our delight, all of Sara’s “graybies” have already found loving homes, and we hope she is next in line.
Sara can be a little shy, but if you give her a bit of space, she warms up quickly and lets her gentle, sweet personality shine. She is not a lap cat (yet!) but she enjoys human affection and reciprocates with purrs and headbutts. We believe Sara would thrive in a quiet home with 1 or 2 mellow cats, ideally her age or older. She would do best with an experienced adopter who will respect her boundaries and earn her trust, knowing that the reward - the love of this sweet, gentle girl - is well worth waiting for.
